"About Nile Feraligatr"

"Nile Feraligatr are a sub-species of Feraligatr who, as their name tells, live at the desertic rivers at the pokémon equivalent of Egypt.

There are little differences between the regular Nile Feraligatr and their cousins. One of them is that they stay more horizontally than the regular Feraligatr,in a more dinosaur-like style.Their tail has grown, too, balancing their body.It is said that, because of that, they are somewhat faster than regular ones.Of course, these differences only affect the bone structure, and a non-expert cannot distinguish between one and other only by their shape. The main differences are the scales and sproutings, though.

A normal Feraligatr posess armor-like scales on their shoulders, arms, thighs and legs. They are flat, rounded, and rectangular. But instead,a Nile´s are sharp and hexagonal, ending in sharp triangular forms. Also, they are tinted darker than the body scales, ranging from aquamarine to indigo, sometimes even black. They are somewhat translucid, the core possesing the stronger color, with the borders transparent, and their structure is such, that if the scale broke, each piece would remain with their core more pigmented. These scales are very valuable as jewels, and some time ago poachers nearly drive Nile Feraligatr to extinction searching for the priceless scales. Also,in the Nile Feraligatr, the sprouts at their chest are blade-like and pointed backwards, instead of saw-like.

Psychically, Nile Feraligatr are more temperamental and moody than normal Feraligatr. This is because, from where they came, failure means death. They are also somewhat unpredictable, one second greeting a newcomer Feraligatr, then by the moment chase it away, bitting off it´s kneels.Nile Feraligatr are generally solitary, but there have been cases of them acting cooperatively, even with other similar species,to take down bigger prey. They are called "hunting party"."
